We would like to take this opportunity to notify businesses and organizations of a fundraising effort we are undertaking to purchase a new K9 and send a new handler to training.
On March 29, 2025, we retired "Hyco", one of our two K9's at the time. His handler and partner was Sheriff's Deputy Sgt. Spencer Kingery.
The Carroll County Sheriff's Office is dedicated to protecting and serving its citizens, and a critical part of their efforts includes the K9 unit. The specially trained K9s assist in a variety of essential law enforcement functions, such as drug detection, search and rescue missions, and apprehending suspects. However, maintaining a K9 unit requires significant financial resources for the care, training, and equipment necessary to ensure these dogs perform at their highest level.
To continue this valuable work, we are seeking donations for the Carroll County Sheriff's Office K9 Fund. The funds raised will go directly toward purchasing equipment, veterinary care, and ongoing training for the K9s, ensuring they are equipped to serve and protect our community. Your generosity can make a significant impact on the success of this program and help enhance the effectiveness of our law enforcement officers.
As a member of this community, your support is crucial. Whether you can make a one-time donation or a recurring contribution, every dollar helps. We also welcome corporate sponsorships and other forms of support that may fit your ability to give. No contribution is too small. We are deeply grateful for any assistance you can provide.
If you have any questions or would like more information about how your donation will be used, please do not hesitate to contact us at (765)-822-2166 ext. 5731, mfincher@cacoshrf.com , or (765)-822-2166 ext. 5701. You can also make your donation out to the "Carroll County K9 Fund" and send to or drop off to the address listed below. On behalf of the Carroll County Sheriff's Office K9 unit, we thank you for your consideration and for your continued support of law enforcement and public safety in our community.
